Not the core of minigames but what's around, like the 3D switching and shaders.
Especially certain things not optimized for HTML5, which I found myself having to adapt.
Thanks for enjoying the game and for the feedback, MD-Wade!
Hi, I see this game was made with GameMaker: Studio. Is it supposed to run so... fast? I have a 120hz monitor and I know the HTML5 export has trouble with that sometimes.
This game is fucking bananas! :)
Ah yes, the game is supposed to run at 60 FPS and I have a bit of code in the initialization which is supposed to cap the framerate at 60 but some systems/monitors just blatantly destroy this function in browser exports just so the game can run at 120 Hz or 144 Hz.
The problem being that gamemaker doesn't have delta time by default (which is one of the reasons why I prefer it over unity), so if you double the framerate you also double the speed of everything.
Anyway if you wish to try it at normal speed, you could consider downloading the executable version found here: https://adriendittrick.itch.io/arq3
I made Vestavia Hills and some music.
